I had low expectations, but this thing actually makes a rich, syrupy concentrate that holds up for days in the fridge. No electricity needed is a huge plus for me since I just leave it on the counter overnight.
The concentrate this makes is ridiculously smooth — no bitterness at all, even when I accidentally let it steep closer to 20 hours. I dilute it 1:2 with water over ice and it lasts me most of the week in the fridge.
