Bought this mainly for pour over and the gooseneck really does give you control over the flow, which made a noticeable difference in my morning cup. Only gripe is it's a bit slow to heat on my electric stove, but once it's there the temperature holds steady.
The gooseneck spout gives me way more control over the pour than my old kettle, and my pour over has been noticeably more even because of it. Only gripe is the handle gets a bit warm if I leave it on the burner too long, but it's easy enough to grab with a towel.
The gooseneck spout really does give you control over the pour, and my coffee tastes more even now. Only thing is it's a bit slow to heat on my electric stove, so plan ahead.
