Tossed this in my bag for a week of hotel stays and it never once felt like a compromise — the cotton filters clean in a minute under the tap and dries fast enough to pack the next morning. No paper taste at all, just strong coffee, and I'm not throwing away a filter every single day anymore.
The organic cotton actually makes a difference — no papery taste at all, just clean coffee. Rinses out fast in a sink and dries overnight, so I've been using it every morning at my desk.
Tossed this in my pack for a weekend camping trip and it brewed a surprisingly strong cup with zero paper waste. The organic cotton rinses out fast at a campsite sink, and it folds flat enough to forget about.
